I love toggles for so many reasons: their ancient origins, the way they compliment a pendant element, how they’re perfect on their own or layered when you need something extra.

The toggles are forged and fabricated specifically for each pendant piece and gold wire beads are threaded and welded into the the sterling cable chain.

Pearl toggle chain is 45.7 cm or 18” - other lengths available - pearl is 14.8 mm x 10.8 mm.

I discovered these Nigerian emeralds back in 2004 and of course I bought as many as I could!  I’ve sold quite a few and coveted others.  This piece is from a series of necklaces I made awhile ago and it has the largest and finest crystals in my collection.

Fabricated using gold sheet that has been hammer textured with hand made french wires.

The emerald sections make up 8 3/4”of the necklace and they range in size from 18.5 to 12 mm or 3/4”to 15/32”long and 6.3to 3.7 mm or 1/4” to 1/8”wide and the total weight is 19.38 ct

My colored stone supplier lives part of the year in South America where he works with suppliers and cutters to come up with these beautiful free form rose cuts. I love how the inclusions create a unique reflecting texture and how amazing they look set in gold. The larger stone in this piece is set on top of a platinum sheet, making it more blue, while the smaller stone is set on gold which brings out the green color.
